DEV LOG 022
Hello!! Happy December everyone!!!
Hope everyone is well! I skipped over an update last month because there was barely anything of note in October. However, November has been a lot more fruitful!
Updates:
1. Talk sprites -- The main 4 talk sprites have been made! There might be some editing that needs to be done in cases of extra expression, but, Akemi and Arakawa have talk sprites for themselves and all their outfits, and Yukio's is done as well as one other special situation...! Akemi and Arakawa's talksprites have been implemented in every current day that's coded out [Day 7 is the only missing day].
2. "Voice" -- Similar to the last, little "voice" clips have been put in for Akemi and Arakawa's dialogues! The game is not voice acted, but there are little noises that play when each of them speak.
3. Worked on ??? -- This is about one of the webpages. I finally got it having a ton of new parts (~30). I had to edit the code because it wasn't properly taking off the images when clicked out of. This has been fixed and it's fully functional again!
4. Functionality -- Deleted an old version of "Day 1". This was kept for a while to make sure I wasn't accidentally deleting something important when I did the re-haul and not transferring it over. However, it started to cause more harm than good, not to mention take up unnecessary space, so it's been deleted.
5. Dialogue for Day 6 Implemented -- This includes normal NPCs, Special NPCs and Akemi.
6. Images taken for a 3d part in the dream segment.
7. Dream animation is mainly done; The only thing left to do is splice all the parts together, add in a few frames of 3d parts, and then wrap it all into a video!
Plans for this month:
1. Book work
2. Finish the 3d parts and incorporate it into the dream segments
3. Stitch together and make into video segments the dream parts
4. Fix auction site [Currently has an issue where it won't show things are sold via graphic, easy fix but tedious via calls]
5. Add in time changes when moving through the streets to show passage of time.
6. Day 7 work...?
This month will be a little busy for me with the holidays, but it's nothing compared to October's busyness. I don't think I'll get everything done, and I might have to add more to-dos as usual, but any work is good work!!
